The Boganyi piano was created by the popular Hungarian pianist Gergely Boganyi, who started his musical journey very young, collecting many awards at only 19 and 20. Apart from his extraordinary performances, Boganyi is widely known for his innovative piano designs. When we say square piano, this is no ordinary square piano we're talking about, it's the popular one designed and built by Jean-Henri Pape in 1839. It is intricately inlaid with beautiful ivory - in the spiral legs as well as the strapwork of the walnut casing. Pape was known for his expertise in designing instruments in such a unique manner that they could also be used as furniture. This piano is known to have been bought by Queen Victoria in 1848.
